Mission: To tell as many people as possible that they are loved by Christ every day of their lives, and that they can find consolation and peace in Him.

My mission as a Christian hasn't been fulfilled, and it probably won't be in my lifetime. Until now, I've failed to carryout this mission. Too afraid. Too shy. Not confident enough. I ask myself why I've held back like His love was some "big secret". There were so many that I could've told, but didn't. There was so much more that I could have done, but didn't do. That changes here and now.

Christianity is not a set of rules. I would go as far to say that Christianity is not a religion: it is all based on our relationship with Jesus, our trust and love we put into Him. We don't follow the ten commandments because God will strike us with lightning from heaven, no. We do it to make Him happy, and to show Him the extent of our love. He's done so much already: willingly died for us so that we could be forgiven for our horrible sins, given us His unconditional mercy and love, and He gave us life! We owe Him, people, big time.

The least I can do is to obey Him and to tell others about the love and fulfillment they can find in Jesus. That's so little compared to what He gave. I can't repay Him, but I can give Him my life to work with and put my faith in Him.

As you sit there behind your computer screen, bored as can be, looking through art or at other deviant's profiles, you probably aren't aware of the power you're holding right there in your hands. Think about it. You can chat with people across the world with the click of a mouse. Communication. And here we are, bored as ever as we hold in front of us access to the entire planet. As far as technology pulls us apart, it can also push us together. I plan to use this invaluable resource to tell the world about God's love, and I pray that others will realize their potential and what they have the power to do right where they are.
